Looking for a showpiece Blastomussa that is already fully acclimated to aquarium life? This is a 100% home-grown aquacultured colony. Started in our systems as a single polyp, this resilient strain naturally split into 7 heads. Three heads were cleanly fragged off over two months ago, leaving this ultra-stable, fully healed 4-head mini-colony ready for your reef.
These are not your typical tiny, freshly cut frags. The largest head inflates to the size of a fifty-cent piece!
Blastomussa corals are easy care level!
Light: Low to moderate light: 50-120 PAR. Acclimate slowly to the upper range. Blastomussas typically love 50-80. This one has been sitting at about 65-70
Flow: gentle indirect flow. Do not let detritus settle on coral polyp.
Temperament: Peaceful. Blastomussas cannot engage in coral warfare, and do not have sweeper tentacles.
1.5” 4 head colony. Largest head is roughly 1.25” across
